Torta di Mele con Uvetta di Rum (or for you English speakers...Italian Apple Cake with Rum Raisins)
Remember when you heard “An apple a day keeps the doctor away,” then ate all the apples humanly possible? Well, this little Torta is that apple all grown up. A light and airy cake, with sliced cinnamon-sugar apples, a hint of nutmeg and cardamom, and raisins soaked in Mad Rivers Maple Rum. Yes, MAPLE RUM. So, yeah, still eat that apple. For goodness sake, don’t let it all fall apart!
