To our dearest Salty Family,

This past election cycle has highlighted many uncomfortable truths in our nation. Sadly, there is still much that divides us. Perhaps we haven't gotten as far as we once believed, and hoped. However, now is not the time to lose faith in the process, or in each other. What does this mean? Well, we've got a lot of work to do, and a tough road ahead.

The Salty Heifer has always believed in the communal sharing of food. Heck, we started out of love for our family, and the desire to share that love via a cookie. To share a meal, even one as small as dessert, is how we reaffirm the ties that bind. It's how we heal wounds, settle grievances, and celebrate life. Sharing is, in fact, caring. Taking that time to sit and listen to our fellow humans is everything.

As we grow, our mission has always been our desire to connect with you on a human level. Whether it's having a cookie with your favorite cuppa, blowing out candles on a birthday cake, or cutting your wedding cake, we look to bring you joy, love and fill you with memories of all that is good in this world. Seriously, we can do that.

So this Holiday Season, we will be here answering your baking questions, and ready to connect and listen to you. Let us know how you think we can help in your community, and the world at large.

Now, more than ever, we must be gentle with one another, and show just how much we care.
