The challenge: creating a lighter, vanilla version of our beloved OMG Brownie. To be fair, we really didn’t see a reason – why mess with perfection? But since we at TSH never shrink from a challenge, here she is: The Dunaway. Just like her namesake Faye in “The Thomas Crowne Affair,” she’s cool, confident, and brimming with hidden complexity. Maple, brown butter, and molasses flavors are complimented by sweet ivory covertures, recalling the familiarity of a perfectly classic blondie, before reminding you that she’s a modern-day lady.
Notes: warm, subtle, creamy, slightly nutty
Ingredients: All-purpose unbleached flour, organic eggs, unsalted cultured butter, Madagascar Vanilla, Brown Sugar, Ivoire chocolate.
